About Rachel

Rachel Drosdick-Sigafoos blends her expertise in physiology--

earned through years of intercollegiate athletics and coaching---

and mental health, where she specializes in working with individuals in crisis.

 

Rachel has a Ph.D. in Disaster, Crisis, and Intervention and certifications as a Trauma-Informed Practitioner, Compassion Fatigue Counselor and Educator, QPR (Question Persuade Refer) Gatekeeper, and the Sanctuary Model. She presented at the Pennsylvania State Capitol and on the Harrisburg, PA NPR and PBS affiliate to advocate for a more dignifying, stronger mental healthcare system. Rachel has also served as the Chairperson for the Trauma-Informed Care Committee of a medium-to-large (4000+ client) behavioral health organization. 

Rachel conceptualizes and conducts trainings from an authentic, person-centered lens. She will collaborate with your group to design relevant and tailored workshops, inflected with personal storytelling that helps humanize difficult discussions. No "ick" factor here!
